About Our Library

Magen David Yeshivah is proud of its library which is situated in the heart of the elementary school. Its two-story design facilitates a wide array of resources, both digital and traditional. We house and continue to build our extensive collection of resources and e-book library year over year. 

The purpose of our library is to focus on the independent study at MDY. The outstanding support from our librarians promotes independent research and curates the individuality of each student. 

Reading is both for pleasure and academic development and is a fundamental part of a student’s life going forward. The librarians make regular reading suggestions that are available for the appropriate grades. We offer a modern take on what a library should be, merging both electronic ways to learn and traditional books to give our students a well rounded education.
