HEAD OF HEBREW DEPARTMENT
Mrs. Alnatan joins MDYHS after 19 years of teaching at Ramaz. Born and raised in Israel, she worked with Ethiopian olim hadashim as well as the Ukranian Jewish community prior to moving to the US.
CHEMISTRY ● PSYCHOLOGY
Mr. Cohen is pursuing his BS in Psychology at Brooklyn College and plans on continuing to medical school.
Yafit Fishbach Rosen
Mrs. Fishbach Rosen holds a Master’s in English Education from NYU. As a new teacher at MDYHS, she looks forward to instilling a lifelong love of reading and literature in her students.

Rabbi Meir Lipschitz
DEAN OF STUDENTS
Rabbi Lipschitz holds a BA in Psychology, an MS in Jewish Education, and a Semikha from Yeshiva University. He also has an MS from SUNY Stony Brook in Human Resources Management. As Dean of Students, Rabbi Lipschitz is responsible for shaping students into responsible, engaged citizens of our community.
Ms. Matatov holds a BS from Hunter College in Mathematics. Her goal is to help students meet their full potential by setting high expectations and providing a safe environment that encourages all students to share and discuss their ideas.
Ms. Saadia is a registered dietitian nutritionist. She graduated from Brooklyn College and went on to complete her dietetic internship with Aramark Foodservice. She has counseled patients in private practice as well as in healthcare settings. She is looking forward sharing her love with nutrition with her students.
MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR
Mr. Setton holds a BA in Psychology from Baruch College and an MA in Mental Health Counseling from Yeshiva University Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology. He previously worked as a therapist at the Sephardic Bikur Holim Mental Health Clinic.
Chanan (Andrew) Siris
BIO ● CHEM ● FORENSIC SCIENCE
Before transitioning into teaching, Mr. Siris spent a decade as a medical science researcher in labs and clinics at the Columbia and Rutgers Medical Schools. He uses his research experience to bring his lessons to life with relevant medical concepts and cutting-edge medical research discoveries.
ASSOC. TEACHER - STRIVE PROGRAM
Ms. Stein graduated from Macaulay Honors College at Brooklyn College with majors in Chemistry and Philosophy. She has completed research in psychiatry, neurology, and biochemistry as well as as tutored in chemistry, physics and writing at the Brooklyn College Learning Center.
Rabbi Nathan Zaboulani
JUDAIC STUDIES TEACHER
Rabbi Zaboulani holds a BA from Yeshiva University and earned his Semikha from Rabbi Eliyahu BenHaim. He is currently the Assistant Rabbi of Kol Israel while completing his studies at the Sephardic Rabbinical College.
