A Letter To The MDY Board, Administration & Faculty
With עשרת ימי תשובה upon us, we’d like to take the time to extend our הכרת הטוב to you. We are in strange and difficult times, navigating our lives in the day to day with an unexpected turn of events. COVID-19 has presented many obstacles for everyone in our community and health being at the top of everyone’s list of priorities,
MDY has truly pioneered in taking the necessary steps to care for our children and the community. Closing the school in March and again in September another excruciatingly difficult blow. Through all these trials you have not stopped. You have pushed through to find real solutions safeguarding our children while maintaining their Torah and academic learning.
In history, we have always been faced with impossible challenges, and with Hashem's help, and the help of our leaders we always overcome. We “zoom” along and we do what must be done as responsible citizens of our country, and as Religious Orthodox Jews.
You initiated zoom when it was needed, you prepared tirelessly for a safe return to our beautiful school, our second home with tender, love, and care. We now are faced with a second and hopefully very short round of zoom.
We recognize the hours, effort, money and hard work it takes to get through these times. We want you to know that we appreciate you and all that you have done, and continue to do. We are here for you and support you. With an abundance of thanks and humble blessings that we will come out of this stronger then ever.
